The Cottage -
Y Bwthyn
The Cottage at Dolau Afon is set amidst 3 acres of delightful surroundings, in the stunning Ystwyth valley, surrounded by forest and hills, between the Cambrian Mountains and the sea.
This 200 year old former Cobblers Shop and Smithy, is the perfect location, and a paradise for ramblers, walkers and their dogs, cyclists and couples who just want to get away from it all for a relaxing break.
There are regular sightings of wildlife including Red kites, herons and kingfishers in this beautiful location. And if you are really lucky, you may see a Pine Martin!
Set on the bank of the River Ystwyth, the tastefully renovated cottage offers fishing, walking and cycling right on the doorstep. Sit in the garden, and listen to the birds and the trickle of the river, as is flows past on its journey to the sea.
Motorcyclists will enjoy the beautiful roads and lanes of the Cambrian Mountains just a few minutes ride away.
The Cottage at Dolau Afon is an ideal base from which to explore this fantastic area and visit local places of interest including the nearby Hafod Estate, the Rheidol Valley, Devils Bridge, Elan Valley and its lakes, Strata Florida Abbey and The Cambrian Mountains and all its wonders.
